A Love Story Rooted in Santa Barbara
Christianne and Jacob’s story began at UC Santa Barbara, where late-night studying slowly turned into sunset walks along the coast. Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm sits just north of beaches they spent time at during college, making it a full-circle place to celebrate their wedding.
Christianne works as an operating room nurse specializing in gender-affirming surgeries, and Jacob is an electrical engineer designing medical devices. Together, they bring humor, warmth, and a shared love of dancing, camping, R&B, and hip-hop into everything they do.
Their first dance to Love Like You from Steven Universe set the tone for the day, lighthearted, emotional, and entirely their own.
A Coastal Garden Party Celebration
The couple embraced a “coastal garden party” dress code, encouraging guests to dress colorfully and expressively. Inside the greenhouses, guests enjoyed lush florals, cozy lounge spaces, and décor that balanced whimsy with romance.
The energy throughout the day was infectious. Dancing, laughter, and quiet, intimate moments unfolded naturally, celebrating not only the couple’s love but the community that surrounds them.
